Studies show the reason for our epidemic of disease and obesity is due to our poor diet, the decrease in nutrients in our food, and the ever increasing amount of toxins present in our water, food, and air. I have written this short article to relate to you what I am doing about it for my own health. Yes, it is expensive and time consuming, but this is the only life I have and I have spent too many years ignoring the warning of those who have studied the environment and the food we eat. I have suffered many problems as a result. I feel compelled to share my take of the subject. I do market the products that I use, not so much to make money as to make available the things I am writing about. I use all of these products on a daily basis so I am able to speak from experience of the things I am writing.
Why I believe you need both Mannatech and Young Living products to fight sicknesses caused by autoimmune problems.
Before I can explain why I believe this, I need to explain what I understand about both products. I will start with the Young Living oils... I believe in their ability to help our body heal at the cellular level in several ways.
In order for your system to fight autoimmune problems it requires good cell to cell communication and good cell to system communication. Drugs are very good at stopping this very important communication by suppressing the messengers (pain for one) the body sends out to request help. This is the reason that it is a miracle when drugs actually heal someone. Most non-prescription alternatives work with the body and supply what it needs to heal itself. The biggest lie that is drilled in to us is, we need drugs to heal because our body can’t do it by itself. The causes of most if not all diseases are diet related, we are deficient many things in our diet, but none of those things are drugs. Essential oils work with the cell to promote the critical communication needed between your cells, your brain, and your central immune systems. The oils do this by aiding the cells in communicating their needs to the central immune system and the brain. The most significant way being by the effect of the three constituents Phenylpropanoids, Sesquiterpenes, and Monoterpenes.
Phenylpropanoids:
There are dozens of varieties of Phenylpropanoids. These molecules create conditions where unfriendly viruses and bacteria cannot live. The most important function performed by Phenylpropanoids is cleaning cellular receptor sites. Why is this important? Cells communicate their needs to the system by way of messengers (hormones, peptides, neurotransmitters, steroids, and other messengers). In order for one of these messengers to transfer messages they need to enter the receptor site. Each type of messenger has a certain size and shape and the receptor site must be the exact size and shape in order for the messenger to enter and bring communications. Certain conditions in our body cause the sites to be clogged or damaged. When this happens, of course that site can’t receive communications. There are thousands of these sites all over the cell. It requires only one Phenylpropanoid molecule to clean a receptor site. At this point it is important for me to explain that the molecules in these oils are so small there are 40 million-trillion molecules in each drop. That’s enough molecules to cover each of the more than 100 trillion cells in the body with 40,000 molecules each.
Sesquiterpene:
There are 10,000 kinds of Sesquiterpene. These molecules carry oxygen to the cells like hemoglobin does in blood. Sesquiterpenes can also erase or de-program miswritten codes in DNA. Sesquiterpenes are thought to be especially effective in fighting cancer because the root problem with a cancer cell is that it contains misinformation and Sesquiterpenes can erase that garbled information. The oxygen that Sesquiterpenes delivers to the cells creates an environment where the cancer cells can’t reproduce.
Monoterpenes:
There are 2,000 varieties of Monoterpenes. They offer a variety of healing properties, the most important of which is their ability to re-program miswritten information in cellular memory. With improper coding in the DNA, cells malfunction and disease results, including lethal ones like cancer.
Now we will discuss Mannatech’s star product Ambrotose. Ambrotose is a product made up of essential sugars (monosaccharides) also known more recently as Glyconutrients.
Monosaccharides:
In nature there are over 200 sugars, but studies have shown that only 8 are essential to our diet. Our bodies use these sugars at the cellular level as a means of communication. Each cell in our body should be covered with hair-like protrusions called glycoforms. Glycoforms are made up of a combination of the 8 sugars. The cell uses the hairs to communicate with each other and to distinguish between cells and other things such as virus, bacteria, and other foreign objects in the body. The cells must touch the hairs in order to communicate. The arrangement of the sugars on the glycoforms is how the cells communicate. Cells have the ability to change the arrangement of the glycoforms 6000 times per second. The components of the communication of cells can be compared to our own alphabet. Our letters are made up of four components a long line, a short line, a small curve, and a large curve. We arrange the components in different arrangements to form the letters we use to communicate.
Just by removing the long lines, the message would look like a garbled mess and you would not be able to read it. This is what happens when one or more of the sugars are missing in your diet. The cells can only communicate garbled messages to the system when it reports a virus or request help from the system when there are other problem. When the cell sends for help the wrong message gets to the system so the system may respond inappropriately. Improper response is the leading cause of autoimmune disease. Drugs aid in misinformation by stopping the messenger from delivering the message. When the cell sends out a message for help in the form of pain, Drugs kill the messenger. A good illustration would be a western movie where the good guys are pinned down by the bad guys. The good guys send a messenger to the fort for help. When the messenger gets there, instead of asking what the message is, General Drug shoots the messenger. General Drug then sends out his own form of help with out knowing what the situation is or where the problem is. The good guys either don’t get any help or they get a get well card instead of reinforcements.
I have had neither company give me any real reason why I should only need their product or how their product will provide both forms of support for the cells. I have had certain Young Living reps tell me that some of the YL products have monosaccharides (I don’t doubt that.. remember there are over 200 sugars [monosaccharides] found in nature) but they won’t tell me which sugars and how much so it would be a blind leap of faith to depend on either one to do the job that both could do. I do however believe that either can (there are many testimonies from both sides) provide support for many ailments, but in my opinion and in my own fight, I want to give my body every weapon I can for its battle. I use many of the Young Living products and I also use Ambrotose and I would hate to have to make a choice. I am fully convinced that there is a great synergistic interaction when one gives their body both products.
I have learned that natural weapons and food supplementation is not enough. Our system is under attack every day all day long on many fronts. We need to eliminate as many of these attackers as possible if we are to enjoy truly good health.

Many are reduced in water treatment plants. The key word here is reduced.. to me that is not good enough and I am sure my body feels the same way. Before the floods of Noah, before epidemics, before disease and before a shortened life span, there was pure, energized water. Different from the water we drink now, free of chlorine, additives, chemicals for purification and toxins from factories. This water was full of life giving energy, vitalized water.
The earth's strata (horizontal section) has given us a clue about what may have happened thousands of years ago. When we installed our Sante water energizer we noticed an immediate change in the way the water felt in our mouth (a kind of softness or smoothness). When food or drink was prepared with the new water it had a distinct and wonderful improvement in taste. I don't know if Manfred really knows what he is talking about, but the change in the feel and taste of the water is good indication that the water charger does make a difference.
